Jennifer Wan articled with Metcalfe, Blainey & Burns LLP in 2017 and then returned to the firm as an associate upon her call to the Bar of Ontario in January 2018. Jennifer’s areas of practice include real estate, trusts, wills and estate planning, and corporate/commercial law.

Jennifer obtained her Juris Doctor degree with specialization in Canadian Law and Practice and her Master of Laws degree from Bond University, Queensland, Australia. She has also successfully completed the Qualification Assessment Module for Australia’s National Mediator Accreditation. During law school, Jennifer attended the summer law program at Oriel College of University of Oxford, Oxfordshire, England and obtained high distinctions in her courses. Prior to Jennifer’s studies abroad, she attended the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada for her Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Legal Studies and Human Resources Management Minor.

During Jennifer’s personal time, she enjoys travelling and exploring the world. As well, she enjoys serving the community in various ways including contributing at charity fundraising events and volunteering at the community legal centre, soup kitchen, and church nursery.

Jennifer is fluent in English and Cantonese and has an intermediate level in Mandarin.
